Shit's wack AND confusing!

Okay, so most of you know that I'm a immigrant, who immigrated from the municipality of Stavanger, and the county Rogaland. I moved pretty much only because of family related issues with my stepmother, whom I can't live with. Anyway, that's whole different thing... So, my former municipality (~fylke) was amongst the five most populated areas of the norwegian country, and I was pretty happy there. Then, I moved to Larvik, a small town located roughly 300 miles (500km) from my former home.

The main difference in this new place, is the fact that these folks have snow. You know, that white stuff that you see on christmas cards? Yeah, they got it...

They got it...

So, here's the thing; I'm not used to snow, at least where I live... That's because the climate in my former city is pretty fucked up, due to being a larger city and such... So, having as much snow as there is here, which is roughly 60" (1,5 meters), is rather idiotic and scary as batshit. I woke up this morning and this was what I saw:

Snowy, nazi, zombie? Anyone?!

Okay, maybe not that... Though it would be plausible (2012?).... I'm a bit shifty... Anyway, I saw snow, and a lot of it... Like.. It was every-fucking-where! Like, God almighty had gone total batshit all over this town and gave us 2" of that shit! I mean it, it all came over night! He blew his freakin' load all over this place! Okay, no offence to God, I am, although, christian after all. But you got to have some self-humor, right?! Anyway, so he blew his... Yeah, you get the point, don't you?

Aw, man! Come on!! That's uncalled for, christianity....

Oh yeah, that reminded me of one thing... I will be discussing the matter of religion here too, sometime, so if that's not your cup of tea then get the duck out, I say. Or, just don't read it! Yeah, that's a good idea, but you can also see if you can find some coffee for that sake... Anyway, I'm getting off track, as usual...

So, there's hell of a lot of snow outside, I'm freaked and I'm hopping on a plane in a few hours, hopefully it's taking off in time. I hate Widerøe and all it's relations with the aviation community, to say the least. But, hopefully everything will turn out right.

The song I'm going to leave you with for now is a Dire Straits song, called My Parties. It's quite awesome, and is easy going. I like it, and I had to download a mp3, make it into a video (hence the photograph) and then upload it here. Enjoy:

"Let's hear it for the dolphins, let's hear it for the trees, I'm ain't running out of nothing in my deep freeze!"
